mk47 dont give up! I have a Xboard and it works fine...
Try this please: Pref->hotkey & midi setup, midi interface and check your midi controller is detected and has an X before (that means its selected)...
Make sure you are try to assign the functions in midi setup, not in Hotkey Setup
Make sure your channel is OMNI
MAke sure your controller is talking threw the OMNI channel
You can't be using your midi controller for more than one program at a time.
Can you assign anything to your midi controller? inside or outside traktor..
In the last case do you have the original version of traktor, registered? If its warez it might have some bugs.. Or check if your midi controller is busted..
If it still doesn't work, try getting traktor 2 or DeckaDance and try to assign a function there to you midi controller.
I can assign everything to my controller with no prob so it's possible to do. There has to be something wrong..
