I have to agree that the knobs on the axiom ARE really shitty. They are some of the worst knobs on a controller I have found. However the axiom makes up for it (to me) with the keys, button pads, and transport controls. For the way I use it with my Snow, it's quite nice. Although the knobs DO make me want to slap M-Audio up the side of the head. Fortunately though I have a knob box so I can just keep using that.
