i have got a synth conected by a m audio (midiman44)midi interface. when i want to sync the bpm with the computer software (sx) the computer sends changing tempo's(it changes the bpm all the time making it impossible to sync effects )
does anyone know how to fix the problem?
i know its not the synth because i hooked it up to a different cpu and the tempo was stable.

Cubase is unable to properly sync external hardware.
Its a software bug.
(I was told from steinberg)
Some few people don't have trouble with that..
Don't know why... steinberg neither...

well thanks for the reply, but i have just solved it after trying all day.
if anyone wants to know,
the problem was that cubase was sending a midi timecode and a midi clock , the midi clock is unstable but the timcode is ok for external sync so i canceled the midi clock send and it solved the problem. |
