Nope! Cubase SX sends LTB (Linear Time Base) via MIDI, and that's about 4 times faster than the other programs!
Buy one of the Steinbergs midiinterfaces like Midex-3 or Midex-8!
Then your problems are over mate! |

Hi psypox
You must have just bought your Virus, huh? Congrats then!
I have synced my Virus b to Logic so I dont see why you shouldnt be able to sync it to Cubase. Just make sure that cubase send midi time code. If the Virus recieves midi clock you should see a tiny clock symbol on the led. |

Why would you want it to do that?
Isn't the midiclock used to sync Cubase to the Virus? If one of them isn't running (for instance Cubase), there is no need for the midiclock.
Or am I mistaking?

no you're not. when the sequencer is in stop, he stops to send time information. I don't have a virus, but I know some synths also can sync to bpm, not just midi clock.
