MIDI changing VST patches?

I'm doing a project where I need to route different MIDI tracks to different VSTs, the only problem is that when I select a patch, someting in the MIDI data changes it to the first patch of the bank.

In the key editor, there're changes in the lanes for Program Change and Bank Selection, but even when I draw them out this happens.

Any ideas?

delete all bank selection and program changes and be sure they are not set to be "read", or in other words, that automation of these are set to off..
except if u wanna automate changes of patches in your vst, which is very usefull if u are low on resources and need different sounds in different parts of the track           http://www.myspace.com/djacidkills

If you're on Cubase, you can use the 'midi filter', which can filter out unwanted midi messages. You can find it in the 'Preferences' menu, under the 'File' dropdown menu. I'm sure there's something similar on the other sequencers as well.
