Well, Misha here goes my impression of the track:
The pros: the improvement in your production skills is noticeable, you are on the right path. The sound FX are superb, and the sample in the beginning is really gets you into the dark feeling of the track. The pads are well also.
The cons: First of all, the bassline. I think it should be more fluid. Didn’t like its structure that much. But the sound of bassline is good and fits the track. The breakbeat in the end doesn’t fit much. Try to find some other breakbeat for this track and replace this one. The track doesn’t involve much, pity; it kicks of and ends really well.
And one last thing, I think you forgot Open hi-hats on this track…

Overall, I think you are getting better from track to track. And other thing is that I hope you’ll return to your Full-On origins. I know you want to.
some nargila and chill out.

I agree with the bassline needs improvement. Try filling it in with Do (or C, however you call them) notes, and lower the velocity of it with the bassdrum. The FX remind me a lot of Mescalito - for the good and bad parts of it. The elements in this track are all screaming full-on, but it's built in a minimal structure (something that was done best in Altom's album IMO) - it just doesn't work for me in this track. The element that enters in 4:55 has a volume which is way too high. A more rushing tr909 hihat sequence. The track feels like it's just begining in 5:33 (and it wouldn't kill to add a tr909 hihat sequence with loads of treble to it after a while - it'll totally open the sound), the elements in the end should be used throughout the track. Add more energetic drumloops and percussion. Some more insanity could make this track much better.

I understand what you were trying to do, but with these elements and percussion bits, you need to make this develop faster, and bring on the power. Blast away

hey Misha, ok lets go:
i agree you all about the bassline issue
i didn't like the snares
i really liked the synths and hihat works
the breakbeat is very nice imo
but i have a feeling that the track isn't going anywhere... after the "knisot" everthing stays the same pretty much. i would add a killer synth part there and there... try to be creative about this.
i would also keep the breakbeat running over the main beat.
the last synth part is really good, so as the ending

hope i helped.... cya around
