hi people.
i need a mic for my studio, does anybody knows about mics?
i need something that does the job well...nothing for a 2 million dollar studio.

well it all depends on what your wanna do with that mic... there`s no one special brand that is the "one" for you... you need to research . just google ...
there are quite a few good and reletivley cheap mics out there just find the one that meets your needs.
  if u dig deep enough u just might reach the sky...

correct
try AKG, SHURE or NEUMANN. These are leading companies producing a variety of mics for all aims and sometime even budget =)
but first of all when buying a mic, one should know what for the mic is needed - recording vocal or instruments?

to me it sounds like he needs a good all-round mic. So my experience tells me that a large diaphragm condenser microphone would probably be best..
but of course there is alot of different microphones for different purpose.
thats why i got 5 different and i expect to get more
2 Akg perception 100
1 adk A-51
1 shure sm57
and one low budget dynamic vocal mic.
must say that the perception mics are truley good sounding.

well, every mic has its own "color", for me it dosnt metter if the mic if for drums, vocal , instruments...as long as the mic doing his job (capture the the freq's you need with the "color" you like), so its all good
