Hey... i decided it is time to let my baby nord micromodular fly away, im planning on selling it but i don't know about it's current value.
I payed $450 USD for it about a year ago...
My plan is to sell it so i can save for a DSP card like powercore or a cheap / used UAD card.
I love it and it is a nice synth in exchange for higher quality processing... is it worthy? also how much do you think i can get for it, i have original box, manual, cables, all is good.
cheers |

hey man i bought a 2nd hand micromodular for roughly 300$ + shipping , so something around that price is cool , auction it up on ebay and put a reserve price if you like .

I'd take your 200 € if you pay overseas shipping (im in Mexico)
I really took care of this synth and i can asure you it is in optimal conditions. I don't really want to sell it but i have no other way of getting money for my dsp right now.
PM if you are interested i can send you pictures sound samples and all...
thanks |

yes i´m sure interested in that machine, but think u will get more out of it sellin elsewhere. cause 200€ actually really much for me, if i pay the shipping too it will get even more. i know it´s a great synth, and i would buy it for sure, but think u need the money asap and i won´t be able to pay 200€ next two months.
so sure i´m very interested brother believe me but think u will sell much faster to anyone else and maybe u will get some more out of it.
but have to say i did not have a look for shipping prices what would that be, any idea? |

I've had 2 micros..you want the keyboard, trust me..If you like the micro, you will kick youself until you get the keyboard.
The $ spread between the micro and rack/keyboard makes no sense at these used prices, other than that the crowd hasn't figured out yet this is the best synth ever made and you want the extra voices. |

Get the keyboard G1 - 2x - 4x dsp
I have seen them for AUD$600 - AUD$800 on ebay
Rare but tasty treat if you like MODULAR SYNTHESIS
The G2 has a USB connection for editor control which imho is far better than wasting a midi port but heck you need an editor...
I set up a laptop with a 2x midi and usb and control both
G1 is gnarly and industrially functional
G2 has more performance oriented patches
you will always want more keys on them...
either way be prepared to spend 'some time' to master them... |

Hey, i didn't have the chance to check this thread before.
I still have the micro but don't know if i want to really sell it. As i explained before the idea was to sell it in order to buy a DSP card like UAD or Powercore but i guess i'd still have to save some cash to buy muy dsp shit, so i'm not sure about losing the nord now :'( because i really have enjoyed this synth too much, it's a pretty box full of fun so guys i'll let you know when i'm ready to move on.
I can't get that sound character with anything else, and it is the first and only hardware synth i have ever owned so you must understand.
