Micro modular editor MIDI problems

Hello everyone.
I'm hoping somone here know whats wrong with my NMM, here is the problem.
When i load the editor it's always unconnected and when i open midi connection dialog and chose my ports it loads up and finds it briefly and then after 1 or 2 seconds i get this
"Out of memory. Open the MIDI dialog and enable the port again."
i go in and do that and then i get this
"Lost contact. Open the MIDI dialog and enable the port again."
This is a new problem for me since a couple of weeks it was working perfectly. I can run the OS updater so it is obviosly getting some kind of contact with the PC. I have alittle hard time to remember if i have installed anything special lately but i think not, im thiking maybe some app disturbs the midi ports somehow or the thing is just broken. (i hope not)
So if anyone know what could be causing this i would be very grateful.

The edit button went away for me so i doublepost. The problem was solved by changing to another midi controller, some program screwed with my phase88 midi ports it seems. So i guess this topic could be deleted, atleast ignore it people.
