hi all

well, i finaly listened to it seriously yesterday and i must addmit i am more then slightly disappointed. the Message does not reach the high standarts of sound and intensity im used to get from MFG. i mean its a nice CD but not the kind that will make u pop out of your skin the way the first two albums did or squirm with fear and anticipation the way the third album did. yes, its quite powerfull, yes, the sound is just about up to date but no- in most parts its not very interesting. what can i do? since their third release, two years have gone by and half of MFG did nothing (musicly)during this time and it shows. The album has some (b)right moments like Wonderland that sorta reminds me why i used to like MFG style melodies and beats, Walking on Ice which is a nice darkish number and Welcome To The Edge which I think is the best trak on the album- it has GROOVE! its lower in bpm and is simply funky. but the rest? rather bored me. wher's the innovative sounds? where are the funky bass lines and breaks? whats with the hihat overload?
pls dont take me wrong- this album is a nice effort from the two to get back in business but i think that both Aron and Guy should start listening to a few albums that were released in the past year to get a better idea of what trance today should be like and update the MFG routine.
i am writing this after 2 listenes (one of which under laboratory conditions - alone, after work, spliff, full blast) and mabey i need to get used to it and 'discover' its hidden meanings (something i did not need to do with their previous releases and something that i hardly need to do these days) so mabey my opinion will change in a few days- I'll let u know if that happens. as it is - its nice, not more.

After a long time the masters M.F.G realesed their forth album.
In this album M.F.G decided to return to the classic goa style
(very like their first album),
but with huge improvment in the sound .
This album has the uniqe M.F.G sound that excite me every time I hear it.
There is no debut that M.F.G has changed their style but
all the M.F.G albums are diffrent from each other..

When I first heard M.F.G (The Prophecy) i felt that
they realsed a superb album and i have the same feeling right now
in this album....

I hope that M.F.G will continue thier great work and will not stop making trance music..
(thats up to us - the listeners, and I advice to every one that consider
himself as a trance-lever to buy this album and hope that it will not
be the last album of the masters M.F.G).

All the tracks in this album are excellent ,but my favorits are 3,5,6,7,9
the last track (9) is a breath taking ambient , and in the first time i heard it i had
"Tears In My Eyes".

Guy, you are so wrong...
It is a little bit repeating itself and I miss too the hihats, but this cd is much better in MFG sound standards. It sound so much more professinal then their previous cd's.

i think that the massage is a good album only because m.f.g trying to mix together melodik & psychik trance together , but , i think that if other artist/s would try it it will sounds better
i do understand why people doesnt think its not bringing anything new  , but what did u expected
that they become noma???
they have thier sounds & with this sound they did somthing new i hope other artists would try it to
:)
