So, what are these chants* through the album?
(Not so frum as I used to be )

In track 1 'save yourselves' there is a Rosh Hashana song. what song is it?
In track 22. 'For the future of mankind', can hear "Teshuva" in background before "For the future of mankind" foreground lyric.
In track 7 'Enlightenment' I can't make out the lyric at all except "Hashem"?

Figured if there was going to be any chant in any of the tracks it would have been in track 9 Shma Israel.

Staying true to their name, MFG uses chants taken from the Jewish bible all along the album.
It's the first time that any Israeli electronic act created such a spiritual concept for a psychedelic journey - a refreshing experience for an open mind.

track 1 song- "uman uman rosh hashana" - in rosh hashana (jewish new years day) many religious jewish go to russia to a place called "uman" where a very holy rabi is buried, and thats the song they sing there...
track 2 - "tshuva" - in hebrew that means becoming religious, accepting the laws of jewish religion.
track 7 - i don't realy know whats going on there, but basicly he says (hebrew) - "i was in the darkness untill i found the light"

Not my cup of tea at all, the old MFG stuff will always be a classic but this 1 is too much...

Oh, the Breslover Rebbe R. Nachman.

Yeah they had a Jewish theme in Intelligent Machine with the speech of the guy in Merchant of Venice.
Are MFG frum?

correction. . .
teshuva is not only becoming religious it is also repentance. becoming a ba'al teshuvah refers to the process of accepting the laws of Jewish tradition. However, teshuvah in general also refers to making amends with people as well as with God.           ein chadash tachat hashemesh. there is nothing new under the sun. --kohelet.
