how come some pm are around 100 kb
  I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, its a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do,and that enables you to laugh at life's realities.

It means that the message consists of 100 symbols.
And your IIMS has size limit(summary of all messages in Inbox&Outbox).
In "Control Panel" you can see how much space all of your messages are taking.
if your reach the limit, you can't receive / send messages.
