My definition of melodic(or dream or chill) trance.
Speed : max 130bpm
Beats : Simple but effective
Arpegiators : chords or single notes but having a theme.
Bass : deep and usually not fast going.
Atmospheres : Pads, drones, beds
Main themes : pianos, strings, acoustic guitars or other trancy sounds that drive a really melodic and floatting theme.
Vocals : Anything deep, sensual, travelling. |
