Ever since I've got FL 6 installed I can't seem to get away from it This one is a melodic prog trance track; I spent more time working on each synth's sound and the general mix compared to past tracks. Made in FL Studio 6, using Junglist for the bass, Vanguard, 3xOsc, SuperwavePro, and Zeta+ for leads and pads, and voxengo warmifier + fruity multiband comp. for the mix. Enjoy ! And leave comments & criticisms if you have some .
Here's the track:

Row row row your boats gently down the stream; merrily merrily merrily merrily life is but a dream. |

Not a style in really into so I dunno how much help I can be.
It definately has that groovy prog bassline which i enjoy. There seems to be a tiny bit of conflict between the kick and bass. You may need to think about investing in some monitors, if you don't already own them.
I really enjoy congas and other ethnic drums in prog trance, maybe for your next one you can flesh out your percusion with some more interesting instruments. The hats could be a bit brighter and a little less compressed.
The melodies are pleasing to the ear. You've chosen the sounds well, they all fit together.
Next time you could try some really crazy buildups, you know, go really over the top with heaps of different whooshes and cressendos. Reverse reverbs and slow attack sounds etc.
All in all I think you have talent, a good solid track. I enjoyed listening to it, keep it up!

nice 1 good work!
kick and bass dont fit together very good needs more work!
invest some lower notes in your synths to make them fatter and need better mix so they can stand out more in the mix!
add more percussive elements so it can groove better!
overall nice work you are getting better
keep it up

the opening portamento line is a little too loud....sounds very effective..like that sliding...
I dont feel concerned about the kick bass combo..sounds good to me.
nice transistion at 1.46... hihat cymabl is a little too hissy there
transposing works well.
good work
a couple of the pads in the big break r too loud too
, but when the kick ciomes back its great...need to do something with those hihsts..too EQed perhaps..
like the stuttering chords there...
vox quite trippy..snare rolls god like
melody at 5 mions needs to be expanded on ..
this is a good track that keeps the listener interested in the many turns in the track,...

Thanks for all the usefull feedback ! For the kick/bass I can't do much, since I don't have any monitors (yet...) . I'll definetly work more on my percs and synths for my next track. Cheers !
