SPIRIT ZONE RECORDINGS proudly announces the addition of another artist to our global artist collective. The San Francisco based producer NICOLAS OESCH was former involved in the project BIODEGRADABLE. MEKKANIKKA was recently featured on the last instalment of the Global Psychedelic Trance compilation (EFA# 52144-2), and now the act follows up with their debut album. The sound will be familiar to many, as lately this artist has been receiving much attention for their work. The album "Basic Tribal Pattern" can be unanimously described as cutting edge psy trance made to scorch the dance floor beneath your feet. Pulsing bass lines and relentless beats fuel the trip through hyper progressive space, accelerating beyond the force of gravity. Favourites such as the track "Searching" have proven to be excellent dance party entertainment to fun loving audiences. The enticing mix is created by a fresh combination of classic goa themes with warped melodic riffs (as in "The Mind" and "So Low Mission"), crisp and clear power beats and uplifting build ups, reconnecting to fast flowing dance floors anthems. Space travellers will find their fair share of trance diversity to last a few light years ahead. From the playful synths in "Dr. Is In" to the demolishing progressive beats in "Authority" the beat bonanza continues through from start to finish.
