Hey
Anyone know any medievalsounding/inspired music? Can't really describe it, I just kind of know it in my head. Maybe it doesn't even have to be electronic, though it could be.
Anyone advice?
thx

Hi man !
For me the best Medieval influenced Electroband is Qntal. They recorded 3 Albums, 1st one in 1992, the 2nd in 1995, and then, 8 years later, 2003 the 3rd..
They are one of the first bands who combined medieval melodies with electronic sounds. Me personally mostly like the 1st Album, named QNTAL I, but the other ones are perfect too !
Take a look at their nice Website if u like. http://www.qntal.de

Hm
This wasn't exactly what I was looking for... I was looking for more "jester/fool dancing" music if you know what I mean. I can't really describe it but I think flutes are common. And I don't know where I've heard it... maybe it doesn't exist.
Oh well. Ut ameris, amabilis esto. |

maybe u like the classical medieval music, not much electric in it. music like
Corvus Corax ,Saltatio Mortis, Schandmaul etc..
Very nice music for dancing too, lots of pipes and drums in it, also vocals. but no stomping electronical beats..try it |
