Last time in Moscow we have a lot of parties....but there is a very small number of real good ones. Meat dominates in most parties. There is no goa, and psy trance with melodies, only meat...So i don`t say at all, but tend exists.
And i`d like to know about other countries and cities. And trance culture in them.

Well, as hard as it is to admit - on a global scale - Goatrance is nearly dead. Only very few artists still work in this style. Melodic psy is also being pushed more and more aside. Meat/Full-on/Progressive and to a lesser extent Techtrance and housey grooves. Excluding Finland, but those guys are just nuts
Get used to it. It's a hard process, and I still prefer some goa in the morning to anything else, but it's about enjoying other sides of the music - new and exciting ones, fresh ideas.
Meat will die out sometime for the same reason that other styles did. And people will forget it a LOT before they forget Goatrance (since Goatrance has a lot more to offer from a musical point of view, it is not as strictly dancefloor oriented as the most other styles). |

As for me, trance is rather developed i.e. I like today`s psy trance. But cool trance is rarely played at the parties. Maybe it lasts 2-3 hours, the other part is full of meat and bulls. It`s not positive tend.

Don't know if I'm right, but in Russia there's too much of mellow-melodic trance these days. People just like it like POP, which is not right. Many, due to age level, just go to the parties for SHOW OFF. Maybe this is right, but I totally dissagree with this kinda partying.
And MEAT is good. Tech-trance is what the future is!
Anyway, everybody has to do whatever she/he wants to do!
