hello
i'm trying to record music to my MD from the computer. but it doesn't work well:
the sound is only in one ear unless i turn to mono.
the sound is very low.
there's a low static noise. (maybe because of all the electronics there)?

if i play with the line in cable the mono problem solves but i can't hold it for 5 hours.
if i touch the minidisk itself the static noise goes away.

i tried to record with another md and the probem was there too.

i have mzr700 and mzr900 and i'm trying to record from a Creative Soundblaster Live 5.1 DE (digital entertainment) - i got 5 exits to which one should i connect?

if you know what could help with my recording problem just say

gilad.

usb doesnt work with all md's.

u have to plug it into line out.

those statics are bcause of the electronics. magnetic interferances or smthg.

and about the mono thingie...its not mono, but the cable and/or md is fucked up.

ialso get noises when recording to my sony MZ-R70...it suXxxXX

the md is connected by power.
i got usb connection but i lost it. plus, the end of it is still normal line in-out cable.
i tried with 2 md's so maybe the cable is fucked. but it has hardly been used so i dunno.
is there anything i can do about the static noises?           REHAB is for quitters

i don't like using the usb cable even if i had it. because the device has to convert the signal to analog so the sound is sometimes jumpy and i can't listen like that.
i will try with another cable.           REHAB is for quitters

the best way in terms of quality but the more
expensive one, is to burn a CD with your
audio material and then use a digital-output enabled CD player with your digital-input enabled MD recorder = no quality loss
