Try this Link Than:
http://www.naik.co.uk/
hope that'll help you. click on Minidisc and choose: recording to and from your MD.
it takes some time to load, but if you'r patient enough you'll get it. |

ShivaS :) u can't trust windows recorder - cause it can't handle big files. if u use SB live - it hase a wave editor on the CD [it will do the job] if u don't - try 1 of all the well known wave editors [soundforge, wavelab etc.] now about TRUST and windows: i use windows only when it comes to games & music [which is sort of a game to me]. every time something works i thank all the gods ... :) i think u get the point
my advice: don't use other programs while recording live and don't forget to turn off system sounds if u use them :) |

well i cam to simpliest solution recording to WMA files with cd quality and then convert into wav-> burn cd but when windows media makes capturing it makes it only into 1 file and doesn't separate by tracks.. anyway i am already tired..and decided to work like that..
10x to all for help
p.s. if you anyway know the freeware/shareware small program that can make capture through Line-In (not SB live), please tell me what prog;) |

get Music match jukebox
then run it and in Options menu ----> Recorder -----> Source ---> Line In
and that's it |

WMA is a compression of some other sort than mp3 and it's not as sophisticated as ATRAC [compression of MD] so u loose quality ... the best thing is to use WAV or AIFF, man. |

ShivaS, if you want to make mp3 out of md tracks, i think that what you should do is download real player JukeBox, and then simply connect your MD to the line in of the computer, play the MD and press record (it's actually a red round button in real jukebox), and i think it should convert it to MP3. You don't want WAV. right? I think it's too much space. By the way, what md do you have? Bom Peace.!!! |
