it's a pain in the ass ahh? those low voliums on those MDs almost threw mine out the window becuase i got so pissed.
now i am using my sony SUPa-AMP DiskMan.
i think there are headphones with an amplifier that works on batteries, but i don't think there is anything you can connect on the output jack of the MD in order to amplify the volium. |

I have this Sharp 722 MD which comes with excellent headphones (I use it when I'm travelling) and the volume is enough to drill a hole in your head so even a 9 year old cat could walk right through it.... ;)
I guess it's all about the level of recording...

if you want to hear your music louder with headphones the best way is to record your disc opticlly that way the md record's with the highest volume and in the "cleanest" way he can. |

Strange The headphones I got with my Sharp MDMT ;) 20 were not loud, but I use another pair and I hear all even in the subway... |
