Mbox 2 and Vista...

iv got a bit of a prob. i just bought a new laptop, with vista, and i cant install pro tools or my sound card.. any suggestions, any1 been down this road?? |

I presume you have Vista 64 bit installed. Pro Tools 8 is only compatible with Vista 32 bit or XP. Regardless, if I was you I would install XP pro.
If you weant to keep your vista 64 bit then I suggest to install either vista 32 bit but preferably XP pro on another partition of your harddrive and use Pro Tools from there. Note that you will have to install PT on the same harddrive...

so much trouble with pro tools...hehehe..
just take cubase & u r fine with 64 bit...
upavas will lunch me for this...maybe..

well im not actually trying to install pro tools, just the mbox. nd i cant install xp, coz there arent any drivers for my laptop on xp, only vista... nd its bullshit, coz vista has been out for i dnt know how long, nd digidesign dnt even hav a driver for it... |
