for all the english talkers.
this is an article about E.
how it was used to help rape victims to open up to the theraphists.
well, this is a known fact that that was the first perpes of E in the beggining.
it was developed by the therapists community for the perpes of helping the patients to open up.
so, yes, E is a good thing.
as long as u dont use it too much.
i personnaly take 1 pill once every half a year and i enjoy it alot.

I thought E was developed as a diet pill no?
But I can see how it can help therapists...

Don't know if you can say that E is a good thing (medically speaking).... but we do other bad stuff as well.

i guess we both are right...
i did a small research:

"MDMA has no approved medical use in the U.S. MDMA was discovered in Germany in 1913 and patented by a pharmaceutical company in 1914. It was intended as a weight-loss (anorectic) drug, but because of its side-effects MDMA was never marketed. MDMA was re-discovered in the mid 1960s, began to be reported in growing numbers in the scientific literature but remained outside of the control mechanisms for many more years. During the 1970s there was an interest by some psychiatrists in using MDMA as a therapeutic agent because it was reported to reduce the inhibition of their patients to speak openly during therapy sessions. The subjective effects of MDMA in humans include a heightened sense of awareness as well as a feeling of increased empathy or emotional closeness to others. The production of MDMA in clandestine laboratories, its increasing abuse among young people and evidence of adverse health effects, including brain damage, led to the emergency scheduling of MDMA into C1 of the CSA in 1985. on the other hand, this is what alexander shulgin says:
"The compound has been around since before World War One. It was patented in 1912 in Germany which is where some of the mythology about MDMA started. In fact, some of the earliest reports about MDMA said it was patented as an appetite suppressant and was used by the German army until it was withdrawn because of toxic side effects. It's all simply not true.
It was actually patented by Merck as an intermediate, with no claims of medical utility whatsoever, and it lay untouched in the chemical literature from 1912 until some work in Poland was done in the '60s, again describing its synthesis."
