i had a blast! even though the music was cut we still made the best of it and got to spend time & have very interesting conversation! i love that place! if you wanna see my pics they are on my myspace!

definitely the first trance party i've been to where shotguns got pulled and people tried choke their mama's...

No offense to Bluestarz, but Karmakat did not have anything to do with paying the deco group. Jules,Andie, and Dragon did . Also, no one was turned away at the gate. One person didn't have money to get in and Brandon went in and got the money and brought it back to the gate so that person could enter. No one else was turned away. The people with the money did not bolt. There was however a lack of communication with Brandon and Josh and the person handling the books. But everyone is trying to do all they can to make it right by everyone. No one was out to get over on anyone. If anyone reads this and feels like they didn't get what they deserved, please feel free to pm me. The "mess" was created by KarmaKat and Brandon together. It was their event. Karmakat was not trying to deal with someone else's mess. They were both responsible equally. Just so you know.. |

We weren't under the impression that Karmakat had anything to do with "paying the deco group". We were under the impression that Brandon was. He was the only contact we had for this event. Then Brandon left and we had no idea when he was coming back if at all...and Karmakat gave us the gas money to get home. I have no way of knowing who's money it originally was...just who made sure we had money to get home. We weren't even expecting to be paid for deco...just reimbursed for gas for bringing the artists from 9 hours away that were playing..
We were told by several organizers that people were turned away because they were disliked...after they paid presale. I didn't pull this out of thin air for the fun of it. Really.
The mess I was referring to was the physical fighting and ridiculous screaming and yelling that took place on Sunday that branched out into other problems. The rest of it was no mess at all. No one had control over the popo showing up...it happens.
I've been bombarded with myspace messages from the both of you requesting my original post be removed...I have sent a request to the moderator to do so. Now you've just quoted it again. I've also stated REPEATEDLY in other messages that its not a huge deal in regards to the money... We got home safely. We met some cool people. Its over.
Its been made quite obvious in all messages here and elsewhere that you have issues with Karmakat...all I did was thank him. I have to say I didn't see him create any mess...at all.
I think its rather sad you feel the need to defend certain people after what was done to you...
Some things were good about it...others parts poorly organized. Take it as a learning experience...quit worrying about it (it was one person's personal review) and go on. this is silly. |

First of all, I never asked you to remove your post. I believe Brandon did. All I did was try to correct the things that were inaccurate in it. And I did not feel the need nor was I taking up for anyone other than myself. There was one person that was asked to leave because he had been stalking someone and we wanted no trouble. The other "organizers" didn't understand that. In retrospect, we all agreed we should have just kept an eye on him. We did refund his money though. But no one else was turned away. Josh and Brandon both made a mess of this party. Josh did what he could to make the best of it and so did Brandon. Everyone has learned lessons and are moving on. I just wanted to make sure the actual truth was posted here and that no one had the impression that people ran out without paying as that was not the case. And like I said before, I was taking up for myself, not anyone else. And yes, I definately have issues with KarmaKat. That is no secret and and if you didn't see him create any messes it's only because you didn't look hard enough..I'm done with this. Think what you want. I tried to make it right for you and your group, that is all I can do. |

i was asked to remove the post because it upset you. you have no reason to take up for yourself or your son...no one has made any personal attacks. i'm not sure why you got started in it or why there even is an "it" in the first place...
i'll say it one more time, i had a good time. there was not really any mess of a party that anyone could control other than what went on sunday in front of everyone and what followed as a result of that incident. i've expressed repeatedly privately that there is nothing else to be "righted" by us...its fine. all square. why do you feel the need to continue with this?
i simply made my personal review...tried to retract it per your (or your sons) repeated requests...you've now done a good job of airing your own dirty laundry for everyone. seriously...i've kinda laughed at the whole thing up until this point and now i just kinda think your crazy...

I'm not sure what dirty laundry you are referring too. I have just explained to you the only thing I was trying to do was to make things right with you guys. You said it's fine. I said I'm done. Now you say you think I'm crazy? I'm not sure why you would say such mean things when I have only just tried to be nice to you and try to find out what was promised to you and make good on that promise. What have I done to you that would make you personally attack me? I have just been honest here and explained how I felt. |

your just pissy i thanked karmakat and not brandon. look around...not the only one.
i just attended the party. gave my review. you've implied i'm lying. now your playing victim. that's why i think you're being crazy.
i don't have a thing to do with whatever craziness you have going on down there...but it sure makes me wanna stay away from that part of mississippi.

I am not pissy that you thanked KarmaKat and not Brandon. I could care less who you thank. Really. I did not imply you were lying. I was only telling the actual truth about people being turned away at the gate. That's all.
I don't care if anyone thanks Brandon. I don't care if everyone thinks KarmaKat did everything. The people who count know the truth. I just want everyone who came to the party and was promised something gets what they were promised because that is the kind of person I am. I don't particularly care what people think of Brandon or of Karmakat, but I don't want things blamed on me when all I ever did was try to help the both of them. End of story. This was not my party,even though all my money funded it. And the thanks I get is being called crazy.Thanks a lot.
