There have been no blatant lies told on this forum. I don't appreciate what you said about you see where Brandon gets it. I put up practically all the money for this event and I worked my ass off and I fed everyone I possibly could and tried to do right by everyone as I have repeatedly stated. I don't care what you say about Brandon or Cruise Control Records, but Vortex did not take a messed up situation and make it right. In the creation of this event Josh was the only Vortex member and he had to have help from me or the event wouldn't have even happened. I tried like hell to have them pull the event and not even have it because they (Josh and Brandon) were so in over their head. I don't know who you are and you don't know me, but I won't sit idly by while you spread blatant lies.

First off, For whatever reasons, im really sorry to hear the event went the way it did. Im sure there where lots of good intention that went into this gathering.
Second off, thanks for being public with it. Lots of lessons to be learned

Cool.
While we are straightening out the truths and the untruths. Here is what the "Vortex Crew" did for this party. They bought 2 plane tickets and put up $111.00. I am glad they ran around and badmouthed us to everyone and made themselves out to be heroes. Kudos to them for that. The rest of us were too busy working to have time to talk to everyone and get to know everyone. We all tried to do a good thing, but that is evidently not something that most of you see or understand. As I said before, you can all have your opinions about whatever you want, but I will NOT sit by while you tell lies. |

I thought we were past all this between us. I can't help what other people write (not my fault). But I would appreciate it if you would not talk about the vortex crew personally. We are not talking bout anyone involved in this.

I wasn't going to even get into this, but I am tired of all you people trashing Brandon's mom on this forum. I have known this lady for many years and she is probably one of the best friends I have ever had and one of the most honest,good, kind-hearted persons I have ever known. Yes she has had a lot of problems with Brandon. She raised him by herself. He got into drugs at an early age. Certainly was not her fault. She has done her best to stand by her son and to help him overcome his problems as any mother would do. These boys came to her 3 weeks before this event and it was a mess. She pulled it together and helped both of them to try and salvage both of their reputations. She worked tirelessly for many many hours on this event with absolutely no thanks from anyone. Then after all was said and done, she still tried to get on this forum and make things right for everyone and she has been called names and been put down for anything and everything. It is simply not fair what you all are doing to her. She bought everything, she cooked everything and fed everyone she could, she worked the gate on Friday for 13 straight hours and on Saturday except for when she was trying to feed everyone. Yes, Brandon was an ass. She kicked him out of her house on Sunday for treating her that way. She has gotten him into counseling. And she is forcing him to stand on his own 2 feet and become a man and be accountable for his actions. His music is great and he has great potential. He has come a long way and overcome a lot of obstacles and will continue to. But you all need to lay off of her. All she did was to try and help all of you have a good time when she didn't have to do anything at all. You are all entitled to your opinions about the event. But at least try to know what you are talking about before you spout off shit to people you don't even know. |

I really enjoyed the party to be honest. Instead of all the negative how about we post about the positives here. the venue was beautiful, the deco was fantastic, the people that worked behind the scenes no matter what the drama did an awesome job of taking care of what needed to be taken care of. We all ate good, we all got an intimacy when the music got shut down and drew closer as people. The vibe was there, and people came together that wouldn't have had a chance to if this hadn't of happened. What's done is done as far as the other stuff goes. We're all adults here, and we've all been through bad situations. I think that the entire thing was a learning experience for all involved. <3 Tessa |

You don't know me, and everyone that does know me knows that i have passion and drive for the trance scene so far and deep that it can't be explained. And yes, I have changed from when i was 16 LOL. I know many souls that will vouch for that. Yay im 21 now!!! IM STILL WORKING OUT THE IMMATURITY KINKS.
So fucking what if I tried to have a good time at my own event, i've been driving atv's since i was 5 years old. I Know exactly what i am doing on one. the land is big, im like ricky bobby son, i wanna go fast, so kiss my ass  everyone worked together to make sure everyone was happy and everything ran smooth, the popo's we could not help, they just have it out for the venue, end of story.
We know who you are, your opinion matters to us, but at this point, false bullshit is not needed.
@ tessa, thank you for workin your ass off to make sure everyone was getting to the stage on time, and helping at the gate all day saturday, your help was muchhhhhh appreciated. loveeeeeee
and KTMAN, thank you, I have had my problems, WE ALL HAVE, thats what happens when you grow up young. I realized i got intense when stress comes down on me and sometime act angry, but i would never hurt anyone especially my mom... I mean i was raised in the trance scene by an x-marine for fucks sake!!
as i said i my earlier post, i learned alot about myself and the scene. I shall go back into my hole now and continue making beats to make people dance.

i just feel this entire thing has gotten thrown out of the context of what we all did there. I mean yeh the music got cut down, but when that happened people that would normally have been scattered out got to come together and hang with dj's and sound people and everything else that they might not have had a chance to meet otherwise. I know the crew i brought with me had a great time. So the politics of it all should have remained behind the scenes in all honesty. What's important is that people came out and had a good time and got to listen to some great tunes. Yea it was a lot of hard work, but even through all the mess that everyone was dealing with we pulled off a great feat with the police banging on our doorstep pretty much. all in all the vibe stayed. when the music shut down before they got the inner stage ready inside the main center, people had guitars and drums and were gathering around tents playing music and becoming a more community, we stuck together and held it strong. |
