I`m looking for an external HD, as far as i know quantegy and glyph ate top quality regarding audio applications, but the price is quite high, and i came across maxtor HD nad they seem quite ok, i`d like to know if someone has tried em, my idea is to run all audio samples there. |

I got a Maxtor 300gb HD. been using it for 8 months. no prob yet. I consider it a good investment.

same here, maxtor 300GB never made any problems, although i don't use them as scratch discs, only for storage.. |
