A collection of alternative mixes and previously unreleased tracks (apart of "after b4" previously included in the comp "Future Memories" by Interchill Records), recorded and mixed between 2005 and 2007 and just remastered.
Guests on this release are Shiranami, Housemaker, Craig Organismic and Greg Hunter.
Wiggly music out of the grid of the usual tags...slow funky heavy beats layered with intense dark atmospheres and dubtronic echoes...a free range electronica without boundaries that explores soundscapes out of the map.
Uncertain futures, infinite possibilities, a multifaced raw reality escaping scientific glossy reason, there is no right choice and sometime the wrong way brings you to the right place in time....just before the announced apocalypse.
single tracks available for free download (mp3@320) from soundcloud, mp3packs (with extra music and extra artwork) for those who register at Bakshish Music website, flac for any donations, wav for donations over 4 euros, wav24bit for donations over 7 euros.

Cool. I remember downloading some of these from the Maux website a couple/few years ago.
Will be good to hear them remastered. The originals were great!

tnx for the good words and the support. (and the donations !).
this are old tunes....but they actually sound still fresh and actual even to me...and even more real than "viceversa".
I am very happy that they are finally "officially" released and out there...most of this material has been previously refused by all the compilations and releases because too intense for the compilers...well...let your ears judge and your soul resonate with it.
the re mastering has been worthed the effort, i reckon.
to andrew : bleeding 4 africa inspiration mood?...ye...i bet more of your taste...more light and "pop"....
will it come back ? ... I don't know...as we disserted before i don't do music to entertain...inspiration comes from life and i don't have control over it...yet.
ps.
my favourite is
what was i doing ?
it reflects very well (in the title too) my attitude towards writing music...

I remember the first mix of Bleeding for Africa with the Fela Kuti samples and the unselfconscious sax line... I like[d] it because it is out there on a tangent all of it's own, and i've not really heard anything like it since. The version on Peak was great too, but more refined.
interested to hear the new material... where will it take you ?

Was that the "viva fela kuti" track? I really enjoyed that one. Definitely don't think I gravitate towards "pop" tho...

oh yeah...no fights..(yet?)
don't get me wrong...I love the Fela Kuti track...(I love the original even more)...
it was not possible to release it as it was...too many samples (included that marvel sax solo)
when I say pop I mean more light and accessible...nothing wrong with it...I wasn't judging your taste.
the inspiration for that tune come up after an amazing party where I played lots of Fela Kuti music to a small gang of trippers who took an insane amount of lsd (included myself)...it was a very happy and bright day.
new directions...not breakbeat ...but def upbeat...the next cloud on cloudcycle will be an example of it...
and some other weird shit like this raw versions:
mauxuam + master margherita - sul filo (in bilico rmx - nightly build 3)
