He is from Sweden and have released an album on spiral trax called energy loader... listen to Welcome sunshine on the album... its a lovely morning track |

Dennis Matenda is from Gothenburg in Sweden. He actually works as a bouncer at a rock-club. The funny thing is that he hasnt been to that many parties at all, he just likes the music. He is releasing some tracks on Medium in the near future, and then one on a new compilation from Spiral Trax. Look out. |

The album was indeed one of the weakest releases on ST (just a note for the high Q of the releases from the gotheborg batch). but he get's better and better.

I think one of the reasons is that he hasnt been to so many events, I mean you get so much more inspiration if you are more into the partyculture. But now he is getting more and more livegigs here and there so I think he will evolve in his music for sure. The track I picked for the compilation sounds really different compared the his older stuff. |

Bottom line - is it worth buying the CD? (I don't expect you to decide for me, just asking for opinions  )

Only if you're hardcore melodic morning progressive fan (like yours truly). I actually own and get a kick out of this disc, but as Borris has stated, it is indeed one of the worst Spiral Trax releases...
My humble suggestion: save the $ and get something else (BLT gets my vote, if you already have it, go for Segment for some refreshing proggy sounds).
