Will WaveLab (v5.oo) be enough for a proper & professional mastering?Do I really need all the mastering Waves plugs?           ===>

Proper & professional mastering? You need ALOT more than a program to do that.

But for a start i dont think that the WaveLab plugins are very good. The program itself is great but you'll good compressor, EQ and a limiter plugins. There are som free ones that are quite good.

Blockfish compressor.
The Kjaerhus master limiter, wich is well suitet as a loudness maximizing limiter.
I dont know any kick ass free EQs. Perhaps the Kjaerhus EQ is ok to. Never tried it.

As a start try downloading the Classic Compressor, Classic EQ and Master Limiter and use them.

I got al the "classic" series plugins, but again they are freeware,WaveLab is $700-800 & Waves even more.My goal is to save money:I wanna purchase FL Studio (Producer Edition) & WaveLab.But is it enough?I know lot of new artists don't master they finished tracks but leave it to professionals, but I really wanna to do it all by myself...(or atlist learn the proccess).           ===>

If you get your music released on labels, they take care of the mastering. What they require of you is a file that is unmastered.           ________________________

exactly, start things from the beggining, mastering is done by people who have been 5 years in the university, so it´s something you don´t learn easily. the best you can do though is like psypox said, focus first on getting a clean and crisp mix, thats already more than half way

exactly

the bla bla bla you r talkin about is my advice on how to start mastering..

maybe you have other advices so feel free to write it down so you can share with us

all i´m saying is that the fisrt and most important step for masterizing is to have a good mix and work on that (my opinion) . and i believe that mastering is not just to put the .wav file on wavelab, mastering starts way before that ( again just my opinion).

if you REALY want to learn to master music the right way, then you dont post a topic on a forum where 90% of the members only say "Killlarrrhhh". nope you dont.. you use googe.com and/or go to the libary.

my point is that i doubt AhmedTaburov will spend more that 30 mins on trying to learn to master, because if he wanted to use loads of time he dident post here.

There are plenty of people producing favourable results with their own smaller studio set-ups. Being involved at every stage of the process, including mastering, is undeniably part of the attraction of owning our own gear. There's also the worry of placing your dream into the hands of a stranger.           www.sattelbattle.com
