Hello everyone how are you? I just finished my first 3 minute psy track... but when exporting to mp3, even in high quality, the sounds became all scratchy and not clear at all.
I think the reason is that the monitors are just red all the time..! hehehe... how do I master the track to make it nice and clear? Using FX - Compressor? All info is welcome!
Take care and...
Boom!

I assume that what you mean is that everything gets clipped.
Reduce the master volume until the maximum peaks will not get higher than the maximum red there is (-0).

mastreing a track to be 'nice and clear' is exactly the purpose why ppl master I personally don't think that fruityloops is anywhere near the mastering capabilities. It has way to little fx sends for each channel for a proper EQ and compressoring. Sorries.

Trip it doesnt matter if you master on fruity or on cubase - it's just you dont know many things on fruity(it's right to say that the cubase mix is cleaner)
but if you know what you want from eq or from compressor to do it will solve your or anybodys problem |

cubase/logic have audio channels, which u assign different effects on - in FL - u assign maximum of 16 different effects on 16 different samples.
+ you need all the other fx.
please don't compare fl mixer routings to cubase/logic mixers. I don't see how it is possible to handle the limitation of 16 Eqs in each track you are making. It's not a personal opinion, it's pure simple facts.
Peace.

Sesto Sento uses FL?? Only FL??
It's the best sounds I have heard in a while, I respect their work a LOT.
BTW, thank you very much to everyone for the advices on mastering..! The compressor really helps! Is there any FX on fruity that works for that mastering stuff?
Take care and...
