yah i knew this one...
but its just the basic stuff. the essentials.. would be nice to gove more tips, tricks, real examples of "before" - "After" even with 30sec examples.. how man did it, exactly what plugs was used, what configurations... anyway. Mastering is the process that involves much concentration, logic and knowledge...
10x anyway

Well, as far as i'm concearned mastering (in my poor home equipment) is to make the track's graphical appearence (as it shows on soundforge, wavelab etc.) similar to those of professionaly mastered material.
for that purpose what i do (as also described in L3 manual) is to open the track on Soundforge, then use L3 on all it with following parameters:
output: -0.2
threshold: as low as it can be without creating distortion on the loudest parts of the track.
u can play with the threshold to "Inflate" the waveform to the desired one.
also couple of EQ treatments before this stage, but thats anyone's favourite style ;>
hope i've been helpfull *Bom*
