hello fellas ,recently focusing on very natural sounds such as bells, metallic sheets, tibetan bowls, sculpture's sounds

the stationery waves on the fundamentals are sooo high
but i should keep it as high as possible, this is the power of such sounds
when u layer one or more with another sound i notice a distorsion on crappy speakers (not so annoying in monitors)

how do i proceed to sweeten it out but keep it as long as possible?
the latest thing i'm trying is a multibando compressor (sonalksis cq1) on fundamental and 1st harm but it's still cutting the power of sound too much

there is no escape or magic trick, eq, eq, eq, comp and of course metering/leveling.

using multibands and such sounds like overkill to me, just be subtle and precise with eqs, doesn't mean you need to make huge cuts, just listen and kill any frequencies that distort.

EQ for sure. Sometimes many cuts with narrow Q, sometimes just one cut with wide Q. Sometimes just lowering gain is the best solution.
Like Faxi, I don't recommend to use multiband comps in this case
