im in the good vst level now like izotope ,steinberg ME (old but kick ass) ,sonnosx , waves Limb and possibly eq for sharper bands reduction boost , wavelab stereo image , and less available for me at the moment but like alot is logic's native plugins. sure soon more is coming and the best tools are still the bm6a and ears , and common sense
also as i think its true mastering can do miracles even on averege sounding track , but have a mixman (can be in the mastering service usualy , it costs more) is neccery to have perfect sound.

also lets not forget the price ranges we talk about , is the no.1 reason. if i could send my tracks to sony studio for mix and master then cool , but most labels dont give a fuck          www.sattelbattle.com

i use scope psyQ into scope optimaster that has multiband comps and limiters in dsp.
