i don't ask something secret, but i just wanted to know how much is mastering being paid..
and is it paid track by track ?
by album ?
and if someone knows about mastering prices in diffirent kinds of music, i'd be keen to listen..

i can do it (if u rather online also possible)
currently as beginer i dont take much
50$ - 1 track
300$ - album
400$ - V.A
i know tim shuldt prices are around 400eu for album.
in house scene mastering is also includ some sub-mix (meens the artist bounce 3-4 groups) and it cost about X10 then what i just said.

House music (and generally scenes that support vinyl) masters are more expensive cause they involve cutting records/dubplates as well.
Heathmans (and Shane in particular) is the best (from the ones I know anyway) for getting your dance tunes mastered/cut. |

Have had good experience with Johannes Regnier(Silicon Sound) and also for a good price!

Hi there
I tried to learn more about Johannes Regnier aka Silicon Sound, thru Moon Spirits Records, but they do not have any website ??!
He used to master all tracks on Hadra's releases (see signature for link) so i decided to ask him if he could master my stuff before i send it to labels...
So if anyone knows how to...tell me please

I think he runs about $125 a track.. I have heard that it is also a good idea to send them a snippet and have them show you what they will do to your tracks

i like to use mostly
stereo image
multiband compression
EQ
Maximaizer
offcourse the better gear u use is better quality , like hirarchy
bad vst
bad analogue
Good vst
Uad etc.
good digital outboard
Good analogue
extreme quality analogue (drool)
offcours the realy good analogue stuff is like 4000$ a unit so still not in this scool , moslty using good vst's and uad when available.
and again , with some more money into the scene we could also afford to pay for mixing with analogue gear and summing desks  www.sattelbattle.com

i know sonnox inflator,limiter ,voxengo elephant,Ozone limiter and dither ,algorithmix eq,psp neon hr ,mastercomp are some of the best plugs and good for mastering. |
