ppl can u share some tips regarding mastering in soundforge 4.5?
this is my situation - i finish my tracks in Fruity Loops 3.0 , master them using lots of plugins and effects. when i play it to ppl they could not tell the difference, but really to me it does not sound good enough. i want to take the wav file to soundforge 4.5 , open it there and improve the sound quality.
any guidance is appreciated in this .
and please dont tell me to use hardware cos i am working with audio only, many thanks.

not sure u can help too much to Fruity squeezed sound.
you can use compressor plugins for certain sounds,
but generally sound of Fruity is squeeeeezed.
result: lousy quality.
i suggest you to use other audio/midi sequencer, like cakewalk/logic audio/cubase, and if you want goooood sound quality, never ever use mp3 samples and work hard on recording [with the mixer]
i don't know what's wrong with Fruity, i installed it, played with it, added my own samples, but if i used any Fruity synth or plugin, the sound sucked...maybe i'm crazy and imagined all this...it's a really beautifull proggie in the aspect of interface and ease of use .... but there's some cons, as u can see.

cubase for example has a lousy interface :-)
