mastering engineer recommendations?

hi im looking for the best mastering engineer i can find(price not a factor), someone with lots experience also in psytrance. Had bad experience recently with someone not going to say who that just killed the mix and dynamics by using very heavy compression and instead of adding more clarity n definition made it little muddy, so wanted to ask for recommendations?

thnks faxi, trip soundmasters was my choice for a couple of dub/chillout tracks i have in progress, didnt know they have experience with psytrance as well. Who should i ask for, alex or kevin?

cool thnks guys, nice to see some big hitters to choose from like chris athens, exchange mastering,emasters..., but cant find any info on psytrance theyve mastered, if please let me know some things to listen to. besides them ido sounds kinna tempting... argg decisions

i doubt you will find many psy artists mastered by chris athens cause of the price ,exchange did some psy and goa but i would have to look on the net to remember some albums, they are probably too expensive for psytrance sales but if price is not a problem ..
you just have to say what you are after to not get bad surprise , mastering psytrance is similar to mastering dance music..any decent mastering engeinner can do it , after it s about personal taste... |
