i've been meaning to ask this for a year...
until a few months ago i kept it on all the time (mostly because i preferred the way the cdj responds with it) but the sound was kinda "sluggish" (when you pitch up/down more than 2-3 bpm) so i stopped using it, especially at parties i made sure i turn it off because it can really ruin the music .
i'm not sure if it's a problem with my particular model (100s, all the 100s i used, do that) or with Pioneer in general, i rarely spin on the 800,1000 etc. so i never really payed attention if MT was on/off .
anybody knows what i'm talking about ? how can i fix that, other than not using it ?

If you are using a decent CDJ or rack CdJ model,
pioneer 500 and above, Denon F2600 etc...
just stay below +4% or above -4% and your sound will be fine. also it depends on each track, some tracks you should stay within +3% and -3% |

actually i used the the CMX's and they did that as well, so it does depend on the track .
i guess it's time for an upgrade .

yep, master tempo fuck up the kick in most of trax if u go wild with it, but on the other hand its pain for a ears to hear jog fix without master tempo.
i just try and play all stuff around 130 bpm so i dont need to up/down the pitch so much.
