Man, more then 200 albums. That`s more then frank Zappa, eh?
I have been confused by the political background of Muslimgauzes work for some time now. But I think, that he wanted, that one can also only experience the music ....

His political backround was my first impession of him that also introdouce me to his music. to I am big fan of Muslimgauze work. Still listening Exit Afghanistan as one of his best work from absolutly respectable collection. When you hear that someone had so many releases you have to think that there must be some consequences of that massproduction. But no, always keept good level of music. I can say same for Pete Namlook works.
Btw, nice release. Downloading it right now. Don`t know how i didn`t see this topic till now.

Okay, since it is over 200 albums, I have to ask the insiders: What is a good album to start with?

I agree. United States of Islam is a very intense album and a great for begining. Also try to find Rape of Palestine (1988), but it is pretty hard to find that vinyl today for a fair price. Check out also Emak Bakia album.           www.soundmute-recordings.com
