Hey

one day when i opend my project cubase was telling me that ni massive could not be found...

now i reinstalled it - and if i open a new project i can add a massive track and everything is ok - but when i open a project in which i have used the massive before the massive-crash it still tells me there is no massive found ..... even when i want to open a new vst track into this project the massive is not even in the vst list ... though on a new project it is ....

verry strange .. so now everything i have ever done with massive is kind of lost..

anyone any similar problems or ideas on how to solve this?

in fl you don't have that problem, if a vst crashes, the daw doesn't crash too, probably what's happening to you is that your old projects are reading that vst as an error or somethin, and the new projects don't detect that error, assuming you already took care of it, maybe there's a way of crashing the channel vst and not the hole fucking project, cause loosing a project sucks

sorry i can't be more helpful

Hi,

probably this wont help, but I had many problems with massive crashing, I contacted the NI and theyve told me to rebuild massive. So you go to massive menu/options/browser/rebuild button
I dont know how and why but massive doesnt crash anymore. So maybe you can try that...

well its not that the whole project crashes - i still can open it - just the tracks where massive where used are not available - and he is not even in the plugin menu -

i think if there would be some kind of vst refresh for cubase it would fix it

i tryed your tip with the rebuild but still massive wont appear in the projects before the "crash"           http://www.muckymusic.blogspot.de/

try deleting this file "nimassivedatabase_ul"
from the location bellow and see if it solves your issue!
