Im thinking in buy a soundcard...one Audio Kontrol 1..that comes with one of these free:
Massive, FM8, Absynth 5...
I dont know NI products..i use just battery 3 a long time ago...
What choice you recommend?? I like "oldschool" sounds...not too much plastic...prefer "old goa spirit"...
cheeeers!

absynth 5 its the newest and biggest thing and very capable instrument
has all type of synthesis in it i would go for that one even if i remember it has only 3 osc and fm8 has 8
all are a must have anyway

I remember I tried Absynth when I was pretty new with synthesis. It was too complex to me at the time.
Tried FM8 on my friend's system and it seemed really nice.
Massive is what I use now though out of all these 3.
So I'd agree and say Massive, but go demo them dude, and figure out which one you like.

the most popular is massive..
absynth and fm8 are great, good for complex pads and layers and rich sound...
but you need synthesis skills to get the full power out of them.. unless you are looking for presets

+1 also
I would say Massive though too as Absynth is quite complex and a little bit "different" in terms of UI and workflow. FM8 I never saw/used so I dont know....

I would say: begin with massive, then fm8 and absynth.
Massive us a good allrounder.
FM8 for fm sounds
Absynth for textures and xweird sounds.... |

Absynth 5 is a real monster!
The stuff u can do out of it is insane... especially with that mutate function! if you like to experiment and create rich textures.... go for it!
