not exactly chillout but yet one of the best albums I heard lately.

it's their latest album, you just have to hear it!

Im sorry but I absolutely hate it. Listen before you buy. For me, its depressingly flat slit-your-wrist type of music.
And Sinead Oconnors no happier either...I was really disappointed with this.           Within this timeless gathering,
a shining light does dance,
lost from conscious memory,
but visible in trance!

Sorry, this is not a Review from the Album, even because i didn't listen it yet, but i have to say that before i started listen Trance Music, Massive Attack was (is) one of the Bands that i really LOVE !!!

With the 4 Albums released, easily you can make a SPECTACULAR double cd (let's say one Ambient, the other Fast) to put on your car with the best tracks from each one and, my friends > GOOD Music all the way !

For me, great GREAT Band !!!

One of these days, of course i'm gonna get the new Album !          - BEing mySELF

Because they're such a great band, I was so disappointed. I bought it blindly, which is why I say listen first, its not up to their old stuff I reckon.

Its suicidal -truly '100th widow,' not window.

that's what I liked about it - it's not the typical massive attack we know. its deeper. more mature. at least that's what I felt when I first heard it.
sometimes letting music getting you more depressed is fun.

It's not even Massive Attack if you look at the credits. Mushroom and Daddy G are gone so its basically 1/3 of the band (only 3D is left)

I guess he was trying to recycle whatever feeling was left from Mezzanine and he failed miserably. This is by far Massive Attack's worst album. Everytime they came up with something new and fresh and what do we get this time? Sinead O'Connor <-- What the hell?

3,5 and 8 are amazing tracks. Thank god for Horace Andy coming to save the day again.

Bring back Tricky!           Both teams played hard

The good time's are gone for Massive!
This album is very far away from what Massive Attack did before, it was a bit of a disappointment
Still remember them live, 5 years ago at Lisbon, and they shure also remember us..........

why do ppl always tend to stay so caught up in the past instead of trying to feel and understand the changes artists are going through?

and what if they're sick and tired of doing this "massive attack" style? common this "massive attack" style has almost became a genre by itself.

after all those years don't you think they want to show the world they can reach other types of music?

Dreamer my friend I'm not sticked to the past!
I'm sticked to M.A. genre (and yes,they developed a genre of they're own)wich I love so much.......
Just want to say that the 100th window cd is not M.A. anymore!
And of course I understand that artists are human, and like everyone else they change!Like the "wild bunch" (Tricky and the 3 members of massive), changed (4 Good,I suppose);M.A. changed 4 worst(in this album), and that is only my opinion that I'm just happy to discuss it with u guys..........
respect

and........they reached all types of music when they got into trip-hop,know what I mean?????????          ...dub your mind...

hi all...
I think this album is something that I enjoy listening to late at night on my own....... V. introspective...
They are not pushing the boundaries with any new sound here.... but it's just their sound ! Definately wasn't as blown away as I was when I first heard Mezzanine.... but all the same.... V. Good stuff...... I would recommend giving it some more tries... ;0)..

I totally agree with you Dreamer, 100th window is one of my favorite albums this year, all the tracks are great, and the melody in Antistar is out of this world ...

way to go Massive attack !!
