Hi dudes, i know there are no rules in the psy making process, but, i wonder if it is a bad thing to use let's say a send reverb at the end of the track with the purpose of glue all the sounds together and finish let's say for example with an explosion ..
right or wrong? i repeat, i know there are no rules and we should try everthin that pops into our twisted heads, but i wanna know your opinions..
Thank you

yes well, i posted this topic because i wasn't sure about it, i mean, people tell me my 'evolution' track is very capable of making the croud go crazy at a party, but, as i tweak it, it gets unique, i'm not saying it is a bad thing, for example, i have some parts where the send reverb starts appearing and glues all the sounds (left, right, center, back, front, etc) together, and it is really nice, but, as i never heard it in any psy track or any other style, i questioned myself, but with this answers, i'm sure i'm making a terrific job

I do it and I am sure others do it as well. Do put most of the mix elements through a flanger, automating EQ and reverb send parameters bringing the mix in and out in the breakdown before I rise up putting the mix through a modulation delay to bring it all back in right after the breakdown. Something we do in our live sets as well, as I do have plug ins inserted in the master channel to be able to "bend" the whole mix, whenever we feel like it.
Peace out.
