only one bummer ive come across, you can record in mono now(in both speakers and not just the left)
but yoiu cant listen to an input on mono

automatic keymapping of sampled takes as well now,

thats the thing tho,,, there are no indepth parameters for the drumsynths,
most only have a few...

So I updated to Maschine Software 2.0 with my old Maschine MK1. Here is my first impression:
Activating: Problems with activating my serial numbers. NI Service Centre said my Serials are incorrect. A mail to NI solves this problem.
The Drum Synths: The kick drum synth needs more beef. Samples or bazzism is a better solution for me.
The Snare Drum: It`s OK, but not more...
The other Drum Synth are realy nice. The parameter for modulating hihats, toms and percussion are very good for creating loops and tuning them to your kick-bass sound.
Imo the new Maschine software is more flexible than the old one.
3 of my wishes become true: Import of Midi Files and a Midi CC routing to my outboard gear now works! The new sidechain possibility is a little bit tricky, it works, but I´ve to work on it...
After playing around some hours with the new software I `m glad to spent the 99€ for the update cause of the new possibilities and the new handling. |
