Lost my self playing with my Moog gear again...some x0xb0x and Big Muff Pi Bass and some Nord Lead 1 some NI Maschine drum programming and this came out. Out later this year on UK based, Mutagen Records.
P.S. the MoogerFooger MF-102 Ring Modulator is the kind of analogue special effects.
Woah really nice! 1.50 is off the chain yo.
If i may ask, the synth that comes in at 1.22, is that the nord(fm?) and how do you get it so lively?:) think i hear an automated phaser.
greets.

Cheerio.
Percussion was made using NI's Maschine which I recently bought.
Yes freez the synth that comes in is the Nord Lead 1 two saws with FM, velocity controlling the cut off of a BPF to make the pattern and a hint of flanger. The synth bits that are behind that main FM lead, is that same lead again, chopped up and processed.
I did not do anything special to get it sounding like this, this how the Nord Lead 1, generally sounds. Just gentle compression on the peaks and high passed the bottom end at around 150hz, slightly dropped a gentle Q band at around 2k, sent it through a delay and tight Lexicon PCM reverb and that was it.
1:50 is the Moog Phatty through the MF-102 Ring Mod doing all the clangy tuned FM bells and whistles. A Moog Phatty Lead and keeping up the groove with the previous NL1 lead...adding some stuff in to spice things up...simple, old fashioned psytrance really....which is what I am into.

chEerS!
Cheers. I like this stuff better my self as well to be honest. Its just different moods reflecting on the music I make. I was making a bit funkier stuff with Disco Hooligans...this time I am more into the simple old schoolish cosmic stuff...who knows, my mood might swing again.
