There's a few answers out there, the majority
points to an increasse of sense perception but how about your personal experience when mixing, does it increasse your hearing perception or next day when you listen to what you mixed everything sounds wrong?           http://www.MindDoctorsMakeAcid.com

Everything sounds wrong the next day, so I roll a J and then it all sounds great again.

Peace out.

This is a quite normal effect, actually also mentioned in those articles from that blacklisted.com mastering
http://www.blacklistedmastering.co.uk/article03.htm

It's like when you step into a cheese store, the stench is overwhealming, but after just a few minutes the smell wears off... If you go in the cheesestore the next day, the stench is just as strong as it was yesterday.

On a sidenote, marihuana really does affect my hearing... but if i take it out of my ears and put it in a joint instead, my hearing is all back to normal.. and so is my smile           - Making Denmark a nastier place since 1974

i really dont think that smoking grass affects my mixing in a bad way, but probably im used to mix like that. in fact i become a lot more throughout on the details, and if it sounds a little strange, thats fine with me           www.soundcloud.com/elektroakustica/sets/downtempo/

I like to judge what I made sober while I'm stoned but as far as doing anything stoned I just end up making 4 bars of total shit.

Its the other way around for me, I progress a lot faster with tunes when I am stoned...even tho I do pay attention to detail, generally the ideas I write when stoned are the ones that always end up staying in the final version of the arrangement/mix.
