Dear Danko,
Live PA is not a Live Shaw.
Live Shaw is the artist playing his music from instruments (computer, keyboards) on the stage.
Live PA is the artist playing his own music from c.d's.
There is a difference between a dj set by an artist to a set the artist plays his own music.
In order to make sure that people would understand that this is not a live Shaw by all X-Dream band, I wrote here from the first post and than later a few more times, that
DJ Marcus from X-Dream will be playing his stuff! and not the whole x-dream team which are 3 people by the way (including Ariel the new singer).
If I used a term you don't understand or I made a mistake with the term, it doesn't make it right for you to accuse me of doing it on purpose (foileshtick?)
I really don't think that because I made a party on the same day you did, you should get to this law level of throwing trash on me.
We are both promoters we should help each other!
Why is it so hard to be happy for someone else when he makes a nice party?
By the way I am sure you had a great evening at the same night at your party, and I wish you only good luck in the future!

we got there at 2:30 zombi was playing very nice progressive
place was very nice, very big and high, lots of deco, pleasent chaishope and even a tantra cards lady
sound was a killer big big walls of sound
marcus was super people were flying
oren coma & space camel also blew the place
crowed was 1000-1500 people it was unfuxing belivble all the trance people i think i know
well there were a few faces like the one dancing on the speaker, but most of the people were just the most karachana people that came to this party especialy and not going out every week
thanks a lot to the crew very nice that you pulled me out of home in the middle of winter

I don't know Oren, but I also feel it's a way of misleading ppl.
When I invite an artist for example to play at my party, I expect him to play his own music, on cdjs. Imagine if I wrote near each act "Live PA".
It's using big words in order to impress. And many ppl do have a tendency to automatically think that when u write "live" it means a true live set.
I think Dan was more than fair with his comment. He waited till after your party to make this remark, so that it wouldn't look as if he's trying to sabotage your party or something.
Just a thought for next time...

Danko has brutaly acused me on foileshtick, on other words: trying to fool the crowed.
well i never fool the crowed and i was very clear that Marcus is coming and that it is not a live shaw.
maybe the term PA is not familiar enough and this is why i wrote very clearly that "only Marcus will come"
one more thing, to throw a constructive idea like changing a term you use, is one thing which i accept with joy! (option A)
but to acuse someone of misleading the crowed on purpuse is totaly other thing. (Option B)
Danko chose option a which is wrong, you chose option b which is ok.
now read curfully all what was written in the promotion section about the party and tell me if you think i was trying to fool people and make them think all x-dream will be coming to play a live shaw.

it not the way, oren.. no need for thet when u got u crowd that likes your line-up..
as danny said it's simply make u look bed by trying to make ppl to aspext more then u offer them..

live PA is when an artist playes his own music (and not a regular set of tracks by all kind of artists). it is called live PA cause it is not a live shaw. and the artist music is just being played on the PA.
although i find this pedagogic discussion very interesting, it has nothing to do with the acusations that were aroused here.
I wrote at least 3-4 very clear that
MARCUS and only Marcus will play his own music and not the whole X-DREAM.
more than that, if after all what i wrote in the promotion section about only marcus coming to Israel, sombody still thought it was going to be a live shaw of all x-dream I would love to get a private message so i can appologize infront of him for this.
Dear DannyK I will be the first to book you for a live PA, when you will have an album and you could come and play it from c.ds and not from a computor (live shaw).
Since I love the way you play as a dj I am sure I would love your original tracks and therefor would enjoy your live PA.

i had spacecat playing only his tracks in my club. is that a live pa?
i was just giving u "bikoret bona" and wasnt trying to hurt u in any way and if i did like it seems i m sorry for it and appologize...
But, never the less, PA means purely sound system in proffesional terms and live pa means live and nothing else my friend

about the pa discusion i think we covered it...
anyhow just to shaw i didn't mean to confuse anyone, take notice i didn't write Void Live PA, although both (!!!) of the guys came to play at the party. The reason I didn't is because they came to play a regular set and not only their music like Marcus.
Now, after finishing the pedagogic discussion about the terms, we can go back to topic.

Live PA = Live Public Appearance
So, when someone writes "X-Dream Live PA" it means that X-Dream will be there, and as all of X-Dream was not there, then no, it was not OK to write that, it IS false advertising, just not from the reason raised here. Most people in Israel don't know what Live PA means, and don't play naive Oren, you know VERY well that most people don't understand it and will only read the "live" (and some will tell their friends that X-Dream Live will happen there). This is a publicity stunt used in the mainstream club culture in order to make the party sound more impressive, and it worked.

By the way I would love to know if someone here thought that x-dream will play live, came to my party and was dissapointed.
If there was such a situation i would like to know about it, so i can appologize infront of the person and make it right with him.
