"Think of the audience when throwing a party not your selfish preferences."

yeah... catalyx is thinking of the audience AND WE AGREE WITH HIM. If you want a party with full on, find a different one.          As you may have noticed, I'm not all here myself... Check out Cheshire Moon Clothing for some psychedelic threads! http://www.myspace.com/cheshiremoonclothing

Intent

What emotions/idea are the artist trying to convey? This is the basis for calling a music dark. Cali night style...are you talking music like Bodhi 13:20's? I wouldnt call that dark..... I would use the term "tearing at the seams with synaethetic sounds"...but not dark

Dark.... Xylamanda, Xenomorph...Silent Horror

Night psy.... Bodhi... Fractal Cowboys...Digressio Traviatta (?)...

It's all 'bout the frequency

As the sun rises, the general consensus is a shift in the boundary-pushing, comfort-shrinking, unhinged tempo/rythym to a more relaxed, communicable, "groovy" state....but this is up to your shaman, aka, the party organizers....I kinda like keeping the frequency knob tuned to WTF... I learn more, in the long run, that way....but nothing like a perfectly timed frequency shift, often manifested as "morning moments"

The best events, outside of dark/light prog/not, are those planned and executed by like minds with like intentions... I know thats what made (makes ) esoteric gen so damn special, and other quality event organizers alike.... Mixed signals never get too strong

EXACTLY bro.....thanx for layin it down proper

keep it psychedelic

Im stoked this party is gonna be a collab between psytribe and mindfull AND its gonna be at the rev. in SD

for all those Mojave desert rats lookin for a proper psychedelic reprogramming: send me your email and I'll send you info about the Psycircle desert event April 4th weekend (it wont be posted on isratrance, tribe, myspace, and the likes...only email lists...per request of the property management)           info/tourdates/psy

I'm making plans as I type. La Jolla, eh? OK. First day? And this is the DJ list? What's happening on day two? This first day is looking great all by itself. I like the "get there on time for a good deal at the door" deal. That'd be me. Though getting to work at 5 AM Friday, getting off and heading south for day one will make it very hard to be awake for day two. Sleeping through day two is how I missed so much at LunarSun for the same reason. I'll think of something as the pacing system doesn't seem to work in my case. I sure wish they'd cure sleep so I could just stay awake all the time.

As for the Psycircle in the Mojave, yes I'd like to go to that. After seeing the Monks of Madness indoors this last weekend, I know I want to see them outdoors. They had me airborne at times, real levitation. Make sure you bring some of the co-conspirators Bodhi.           - - -

very very good scenes. california knows hows to do it right! time to get down with some serious psychedelic music. I especially look forward to naked tourist, dylalien, random, arahat. And the small gathering with psycircle is gonna kickass. I love the fact that we have such talented artists throwing down some real intricate psychedelic music at the parties over here. I look forward to the parties ahead.

hello.
xexify will also be helping to throw this event.
@ cindervomit: you are wrong, i will be playing a rather dark set. but i would say you're right for the most part, the rest of the artists are not dark in the true sense of the word. weird, psychedelic, and groovy definitely don't make something straight up dark and evil. and i've found most people don't like the truly dark and evil stuff, except when gil plays it.

hope everyone is excited... this will be a unique and awesome event in timespace.
bomshivers,
dog.

yea even when gil plays it, it doesnt always make the truly dark and evil shit any better.

I love me some dark sounds, but I like darkness with some groovy psychedelia in it, I'm just not into the really evil stuff.. maybe I shouldnt call it evil, I'm bound to flaimbait someone with that, but you all know what I mean..

sick lineup guys, its going to be a sweet party! I wish I wasnt half the country away!           .:.vaxination.:.
