Many MIDIGates triggered by the same MIDI signal. Is it possible in Cubase5?

There's multi bus assignation feature in Cubase as in ProTools?
I'm wondering if it's possible to send the same MIDI signal to more than one Steinberg MIDIGate inserted in different audio tracks, in Cubase 5.
I checked in the operation manual, but it ins't mentioned at all
thanks in advance

This method is universal.
Create a soft synth channel and choose a patch with fast attack/release and route the output of that soft synth track, to a buss, say buss 11.
Disable the routing of that buss to the main out so that you don't get the actual sound of the tone you are sending.
Now in any channel you want to apply the MIDIgate effect, insert a gate and select in its sidechain input, buss 11.
Dial in the threshold, attack, hold and decay values that fit to your liking.
Any time you press a note of the original soft track you create, the gate(s) will open at note on message and close at note off messages, according to the gate settings.
So after that, get creating with the MIDI pattern for that soft synth that sends signal down buss 11, which sequentially, triggers all the gates that "listen" to buss 11 via the sidechain option.
Peace out.

Hi, Disco Hooligans.
First at all, thanks to answer me.
I must say that yours is a solution, but it depends in which gate you use. Because in some you can choose into the plugin the trigger signal (as I remember Waves Plug-ins), while in others (as Steinberg ones) the trigger comes from a send. In this case it's easy to do what I wanted (just send de audio signal by sends to the gate).
In the case of MIDIGate is necessary to send a MIDI signal (by bus output). I'm trying to use MIDIGate only to save CPU usage.
But don't worry, probably there's not a way to do what I'm saying.
Which Gate you usually use? It has duck option?

I mentioned the buss way, because in some DAWs (logic for example) it is not possible to select the output of an audio instrument (soft synth) channel, as an input to Logic's native, gate plug in.
You don't have to select a heavy on the CPU soft synth as a gate trigger, you can open your DAW's software sampler without loading up any samples in it, just use the default sine wave.
Simple gate plug ins, are easy on the CPU, you'll be able to insert many without any considerable CPU increase.
I mentioned this way cause you can have intuitive gate patterns that can change over time, with great ease, as simple as it is to alter the notes in your trigger channel...you can even add swing and shuffle to your gate triggers, anything you can do to a midi file, you can apply, at once in all the channels that you've inserted the gate plug ins that are side chained to that buss. Think about the possibilities!
And most native gate plug ins, have the option and you don't have to look at expensive dynamic plug ins (ala Waves), to carry out such a basic task, for which you already have the tools to implement.
Peace out.

Ok! Thanks for your useful advices. In any case in gonna searching a free gate with duck option, because my Steinberg Native plugins doesn't perform it.
