"Hi and welcome to the Promotional Media Section!
In order to make this place more readable, searchable and informative, we would like to clear a few points that caught our attention recently:
1. You are welcome to promote yourself as an artist or DJ, but please try to create an interesting thread, give us some info on you and your music, release/gig schedule, future plans, etc. If you just want to post your Myspace or webpage, please use the links section.
2. Same goes for new tracks of yours: if you got a bunch of them you especially want to promote (again with some info, etc), go for it! But please do not use this section for random snippets of your music or single new tracks - we have the New Tracks Section for this.
3. DJ mixes got their own section now and should be posted in there. Go start posting!
