agreed...my first though was dubsahara.
agreed... this release could have done with an extra tune!! all that trouble to press a cd&post may as well!

comparing pricing...going by past pricing

psyshop has dakini release (tribal matrix) going for $14.50 or
€13.33
postage is $3.15/€2.89

Beatspace has dakini (looking at drumspyder)
€12,10 or
$16,28
not sure about postage.

http://www.beatspace.com/dettagli/dettaglio.aspx?id=5790

Beatspace digital download option for €9.80!

http://beatspacedakini.bandcamp.com/album/drumspider-kytheria-dakini-records

discogs digital, pricing around €8.98

http://www.discogs.com/digital?label=Dakini+Japan

anyone use this?

itunes is $9.99, although itunes is the least karma friendly way of buying digital (and no FLAC)

any other digital options?

I spoze buying direct from dakini you are getting the release sooner & 100% directly supporting dakini which means you can listen to the music with the best karma. anyway i wait on psyshop.

Got my copy last night, really nice. Very much in the Makyo style but you can also tell the influence having a proper band has made rather than the more electronic style of Makyo.

Gio included an advertising pamphlet explaining how Makyo has become a 5 piece band since 2009. Sounds like it'd be an amazing gig to see them perform, I can only dream here in Australia as this kind of music isn't quiet popular yet even in the doof scene.

@low orbit: Ya, Padmasana rocks. Didn`t buy the Makyo-CD though, since there are no real prelistening options (no long samples)

That SoundCloud track linked to above is a live club recording, not on the Purnima album, although the style is very similar.

Thanks for posting that, very nice. I think the release party for "Purnima" was live streamed from Tokyo in HD recently...
