Making two song from one original

Do you often/ever/never split your composed track to two new tracks when there is too different-sounding sections? Or chorus and verse?
I mean, i have now a little problem with my newest creation.. There's funky bass section and there's full-on bass section, and i have now tried few days to figure out what to do with it because the rhythm is so f#&*ing changing... But i would love to manage to mix them to fit in one song.

speed up the tempo over the track to make it a nice transition from funky to fullon?
And of course to annoy dj's.
